Meter communication protocol converter ESMB 3.0

ESMB 3.0 is a modification of the controller ESMB 3.1, which is used for conversion of communication protocol of measuring instruments. Similar to ESMB 3.1, ESMB 3.0 can have one or two communication interfaces (20 mA current loop and/or RS485) and can transmit data using RS485 or Ethernet interfaces. The controller converts measuring instruments‘ communication protocol IEC 62056-31 to Modbus. ESMB 3.0 is a great solution when the smart meter data needs to be transmitted to boiler house or substation control or SCADA system. Often such systems cannot work directly with measuring instrument communication procotols and because of this the Modbus conversion is important. One of the biggest advantages of ESMB 3.0 – the support of multiple communication sessions.
